Recommending a book: Mindset
Dear Readers,
Those who are keen on reading a book in English, I wholeheartedly recommend a book that I am currently reading. The title of it is Mindset written by Carol S. Dweck, and it deals with a deep, psychological issue: how to learn to fulfil our potential.
This glamorous book attempts to give some visible evidence that basically two types of people exist:
People with fixed mindset tend to think that their personal skills are highly exceptional and superior to anybody's, they think that they are especially talented and gifted; however, whenever they fail their progress is hindered since they rather give up the challenge than try to face it. In contrast, people with growth mindset are aware of the fact that failures are inevitable in life and they can contribute to their improvement as they do not jack everything in, just keep on trying much harder, and finally, they manage to succeed.
The book also intends to put an emphasis on how important learning is. Those people who are keen on learning and making their abilities more perfect are in a better position in life as they can progress conspicuously. The author of the book proves everything that she writes about with a plethora of real life examples.
In my opinion, everybody must have had failures in their life when they thought they were absolutely useless, dumb, silly or inefficient. However, this book can help them to change their attitude towards demanding challenges and survive any kind of uphill battle in their life. Were I you, I would definitely grab this informative book and start being absorbed in it.
