Undoubtedly, in our materialistic 21 ^st century, fashion is hailed as one of the most important things for many generations. It would come as no surprise that fashion is renowed for its circular change, so according to numerous people, it does not change but it only rapidly transforms.

On one hand, it can be stated that people’s outfit can speak volumes about their owners. It is also true that 1 ^st impressions may matter a lot and many people tend to make snap judgements about others’ look simply by their appearance. Having seen the topic of growing old in the last issue of your magazine (issue No. 21.), I felt that I must share my opinion with you on that highly polarizing matter.

Admittedly, the majority of people would like to stay youthful, healthy, beautiful and energetic forever; however, sadly, it is impossible. In my humble opinion, aging does not necessarily mean only negative concepts like being ill perpetually, looking totally unattractive and feeling absolutely pessimistic or disillusioned.

As a matter of fact, I know many elderly whose appearance is neat, and they really enjoy their retirement ages as they say it is the period of their life when they have enough time for everything they want to. They are not forced to work, they can manage their time ...

As for me, I have a little daughter who likes to be made a fuss of her; she takes after my husband in that respect, I guess. As she is only 15 months old, she has just started to walk. She falls if she treads on one of her toys, so she can’t walk so steadily yet. But I bet she will be able to run much quicker than we do soon.
